Fish Diary Application - Backup Data Files

Reports Menu

Help Menu

The "Backup Data Files" Sub-Menu allows you to backup your important data files for safe keeping.  It is recommended to run this function before closing the program each time you add or change the data.

The "Backup Data Files" copies the data files from "C:\Program Files\FishDiary\*.tps" to "C:\Program Files\FishDiary\Backup\".  There is no function to copy the backup files off to a floppy, zip disk or backup tape.

To safegard yourself from a system crash or viruses that will disable your hard drive and you loose your data, you will need to go to "C:\Program Files\FishDiary\" and backup both the "Backup" and the "FishPictures" directories to a place off of your hard drive for safe keeping.
